Catch up!

Life has been crazy busy and seems to finally be slowing down. Wes and I have been married for a little over 3 months now and couldn't be happier. The wedding was perfect, we had so many friends and family there, many from out of state. Everything went perfect. A few weeks before the wedding I fired my decorator, and I was pretty sure it'd just be Me and Wes standing in a huge room with no decorations and people sitting on plain folder chairs. However thanks to my mom and aunt the place looked better than I imagined, Wes and my dad were a huge help cutting down every bush and tree in sight so I could get the "sticks" I wanted. The place looked amazing. Wes's uncle married us, the ceremony was short and sweet just like we asked. After the ceremony we had a reception. I couldn't believe all the people that showed up for our reception. There was a constant flow for seriously 3 hours. After our reception we headed up to our after party. We had a live band and all! Wes busted out some moves I've never seen. (that kid can dance). The night was awesome, Wes had a little more fun than he planned and I think finally recovered on day 2 of the honeymoon!! hahah With that said lets just say we had and unforgettable wedding night!!

Happy October!!

I cannot believe it's October 1st. This month has always been one of my favorites and I'm definitely loving that fall is finally here. October 1st also means I only have 14 more days as a single girl! I'm so excited, however this wedding stuff is no walk in the park, I now wish I would have taken my parent's offer on a Vegas wedding. It's coming into place and with two more weeks left I think I can survive. Fingers and toes are crossed that Wes will remember the girl I was before this bridezilla came alive. Poor Wes, he's been awesome and very very patient through me losing my ring, firing the decorator last minute, making him spray paint our arbor black and all the in between. With only a few more meetings and runs to Provo, (Fingers and toes double crossed) we can sit back and relax. We've got a lot of fun things coming up.

My Cowboy is Number 1

Wes had an awesome weekend in Omaha Nebraska, He and his traveling partner stole the show. Steve and Wes were the only ones to ride all four bulls!! (Those Utah boys know how to do it.) Wes placed 1st in two rounds and 2nd in two rounds, finshishing second place overall. He also earned him enough this weekend to take the lead in the world standings!

Last weekend Wes traveled up to Ellenburg Washington, to compete in

the Xtreme Bulls year end finale. Wes has been on top all year and

walked away with the much deserved title (Xtreme Bulls 2010 Champion)!! Congrats on taking another awesome title this year!!

Our lil love story

I had just finished my first year of x-ray school and was living with my parents, was working 2 jobs and going to school. I had just broke up with a boyfriend, and I think my family thought my life was slowly going down hill (no social life).. ha! So my cousin Jenna called and said Jerry (her hubby) wanted to give my number to this kid (Wes) . Jenna had mentioned something about it a couple months prior and I thought nothing of it. I knew he was a cowboy which never really was my thing. However i've attended the Ute Stampede and love the movie 8 Seconds!! Anyways she said Jerry demanded my number and so she was calling to okay it with me. I said sure whatever a free dinner/hangout wouldn't hurt. A few minutes later I get this text from Wes and we texted back and forth only a few times and that was that. Then a couple days later (possibly weeks) I recieved a few more texts. Well it went on like this for a couple weeks, I'd hear from him every three days, or late at night. He'd ask to hang out I'd cancel so on and so forth. Well as time went on texts turned into calls and he began calling more often. Playing it cool we'd talk for hours which was something new for both of us, mind you we still haven't met yet. To make a long story short one night I was hanging out with my friends at Snow College and Wes texted me to hang out. I couldn't keep blowing him off so 9:30 at night I'm running around my friends apartment trying to get ready and begging someone to come with me! After driving around Santaquin for a half hour Casey and I finally found his house close to midnight. Wes and his cousin Cody were outside waiting for us, gettin out of my car we did the whole first awkward hi and hug thing then went inside and watched a movie, Cody and Casey both fell asleep leaving me and Wes alone to talk and we ended up kissing. I left his house around three completely in like, and I remember telling my friend as we were driving home ohhh man I think I really like this kid. We blabbed on about all the kissing details like girls do and talking about how I probably wont ever hear from Wes again. I mean seriously he's boy!! Well to my surprise he texted me the next morning, and things kind of took off from there. Both of us would keep reminding each other and ourselves that we'd weren't looking for any serious, But I think we both knew it was too late. We were inseparable, We'd hang out whenever he was home and he'd take me to all his rodeo's around Utah!!! (Never have I been too so many rodeo's in my life). I've had the time of my life with Wes and things have always just worked for us. Never have I laughed or had so much fun with one person! He asked me to marry him June 29th and we will make it official Oct 15th. I'm so lucky to be married to my best friend and truely the greatest guy ever. I can't wait to see where this crazy ride that we call life take us!!!
